Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") govern participation in NOTOXIC® Circle and all community features of NOTOXIC® Universe, including forums, discussions, events, and social interactions. Our community is built on principles of respect, sustainability, positive impact, and the "No Toxic" philosophy that extends beyond products to include our interactions and discourse.
By participating in NOTOXIC® Circle or any community features, you agree to follow these Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, suspension, or permanent ban from community features.
1. Community Values and Principles
NOTOXIC® Circle is built on core values that guide all interactions:
- Respect: Treat all members with dignity and respect, regardless of background, beliefs, or perspectives
- Sustainability: Share knowledge and practices that promote environmental and social sustainability
- Transparency: Be honest and transparent in communications and sharing
- Positive Impact: Contribute to positive change and community well-being
- Inclusivity: Welcome diverse perspectives and create an inclusive environment
1.1 Acceptable Behavior
We encourage and welcome:
- Respectful Communication: Constructive, respectful, and thoughtful communication
- Knowledge Sharing: Sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices related to sustainability
- Support: Supporting fellow community members and helping others learn and grow
- Celebration: Celebrating sustainability achievements and positive impact
- Constructive Feedback: Providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Collaboration: Collaborating on projects, initiatives, and community goals
- Questioning and Learning: Asking questions and engaging in respectful discussions
2. Anti-Toxicity Rules and Prohibited Content
The "No Toxic" philosophy extends to our community interactions. The following behaviors and content are strictly prohibited:
2.1 Harassment and Bullying
Prohibited behaviors include:
- Harassment: Targeted harassment, stalking, or persistent unwanted contact
- Bullying: Intimidation, threats, or abusive behavior toward individuals or groups
- Personal Attacks: Attacking individuals rather than addressing ideas or content
- Trolling: Deliberately provocative or disruptive behavior
2.2 Hate Speech and Discrimination
Zero tolerance for:
- Hate Speech: Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Discriminatory Language: Slurs, derogatory terms, or language that demeans or marginalizes groups
- Stereotyping: Harmful stereotypes or generalizations about groups
2.3 Spam, Scams, and Fraud
Prohibited activities include:
- Spam: Repetitive, unsolicited, or irrelevant content
- Scams: Fraudulent schemes, phishing, or deceptive practices
- Unauthorized Sales: Selling products or services without authorization
- Pyramid Schemes: Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes
2.4 False or Misleading Information
Prohibited content includes:
- Misinformation: False or unsubstantiated claims presented as fact
- Disinformation: Deliberately false information spread to deceive
- Misleading Claims: Exaggerated or unsubstantiated claims about products, services, or practices
- Fake News: Fabricated news or information
2.5 Violence, Threats, and Harmful Content
Strictly prohibited:
- Violence: Content promoting, glorifying, or threatening violence
- Threats: Threats of harm to individuals or groups
- Self-Harm: Content promoting self-harm or suicide
- Graphic Content: Excessively graphic, violent, or disturbing content
2.6 Unauthorized Promotion and Advertising
Prohibited without authorization:
- Unauthorized Advertising: Promoting products, services, or brands without permission
- Affiliate Links: Unauthorized affiliate or referral links
- Commercial Solicitation: Soliciting business or sales
- Competitive Brands: Promoting competitive brands (unless authorized)
2.7 Privacy Violations
Prohibited activities include:
- Doxxing: Sharing private or identifying information without consent
- Privacy Violations:Sharing others' personal information, photos, or private communications
- Impersonation: Impersonating others or creating fake accounts
- Unauthorized Recording: Recording or sharing private conversations without consent
2.8 Other Prohibited Content
Also prohibited:
- Illegal Content: Content that violates laws or regulations
- Copyright Infringement: Unauthorized use of copyrighted material
- Adult Content: Explicit sexual content (unless in appropriate, age-restricted contexts)
- Gambling: Promotion of gambling or betting
- Drugs and Alcohol: Promotion of illegal drugs or excessive alcohol consumption
3. Moderation Policies and Enforcement
NOTOXIC® Universe maintains a safe and positive community through active moderation. Our moderation team reviews content and enforces these Guidelines consistently and fairly.
3.1 Moderation Powers
NOTOXIC® Universe reserves the right to:
- Content Removal: Remove, edit, or hide content that violates Guidelines
- User Actions: Warn, suspend, or permanently ban users for violations
- Discussion Moderation: Moderate discussions, comments, and interactions
- Content Review: Review reported content and take appropriate action
- Account Restrictions: Restrict account features or access
- Legal Action: Take legal action for serious violations (harassment, threats, fraud, etc.)
3.2 Enforcement Actions
Enforcement actions are taken based on violation severity:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a warning
- Content Removal: Violating content is removed
- Temporary Suspension: Account suspended for a specified period (7 days, 30 days, etc.)
- Permanent Ban: Permanent ban for serious or repeated violations
- Legal Action: Serious violations may result in legal action
3.3 Moderation Process
Moderation process:
- Report or Detection: Violations are reported by users or detected by automated systems
- Review: Moderation team reviews reported content or violations
- Assessment: Violation severity and context are assessed
- Action: Appropriate enforcement action is taken
- Notification: User is notified of action taken (where applicable)
3.4 Automated Moderation
We use automated tools to assist moderation:
- Spam detection and filtering
- Content filtering for prohibited keywords
- Automated flagging for review
- All automated actions are reviewed by human moderators
4. Content Creation and Sharing Guidelines
4.1 Original Content
When creating and sharing content:
- Originality: Create original content or properly attribute sources
- Copyright: Respect copyright and intellectual property rights
- Attribution:Credit original creators when sharing or using others' content
- Permissions: Obtain necessary permissions before sharing content featuring others
4.2 Content Quality
We encourage:
- Thoughtful and well-researched content
- Clear and accurate information
- Relevant and valuable contributions
- Respectful and constructive discussions
4.3 Content Topics
Appropriate topics include:
- Sustainability practices and tips
- Product reviews and experiences
- Community initiatives and projects
- Educational content and resources
- Questions and discussions about NOTOXIC® products and services
5. Intellectual Property and Copyright
5.1 Your Content
When you post content in the community:
- You retain ownership of your original content
- You grant NOTOXIC® Universe a license to use, display, and distribute your content within the community
- You represent that you have the right to post the content
5.2 Respecting Others' IP
You must:
- Respect copyright and intellectual property rights
- Not post content that infringes others' IP rights
- Obtain permission before using others' content
- Properly attribute content when required
5.3 NOTOXIC® Brand Usage
NOTOXIC® trademarks and branding:
- NOTOXIC® trademarks and logos are protected
- Unauthorized use of NOTOXIC® branding is prohibited
- Community members may use NOTOXIC® branding in community discussions (with respect)
6. Privacy and Data Sharing
6.1 Respecting Privacy
Community members must:
- Respect others' privacy and personal information
- Not share others' personal information without consent
- Not post private communications without permission
- Be mindful of what personal information you share
6.2 Public vs. Private Information
Understand that:
- Content posted in public forums is visible to the community
- Private messages should remain private
- Personal information shared publicly may be used by others

7. Reporting Violations
7.1 How to Report
If you encounter violations of these Guidelines:
- Report Button: Use the report button on content or profiles
- Email: Email [email protected] with "Community Violation" in subject line
- Contact Form: Use the contact form on our website
7.2 What to Include in Reports
When reporting, please include:
- Description of the violation
- Link to or screenshot of violating content
- Username or profile of violator
- Date and time of incident
- Any relevant context
7.3 Report Handling
We will:
- Review reports promptly (typically within 24-48 hours)
- Take appropriate action if violation is confirmed
- Notify reporter of action taken (where appropriate)
- Maintain confidentiality of reports
7.4 False Reports
False or malicious reports:
- False reports may result in action against the reporter
- Repeated false reports may result in account restrictions
- Report only genuine violations
8. Appeals and Dispute Resolution
8.1 Appealing Moderation Actions
If you believe a moderation action was incorrect:
- Contact us within 7 days of the action
- Provide explanation and evidence supporting your appeal
- We will review and respond within 5-7 business days
- Appeal decisions are final
8.2 Dispute Resolution
For disputes between community members:
- Try to resolve disputes directly and respectfully
- Report to moderators if resolution is not possible
- Moderators may mediate or take appropriate action
9. Account Suspension and Termination
9.1 Suspension
Accounts may be suspended for:
- Violations of these Guidelines
- Investigation of potential violations
- Repeated minor violations
Suspension may be temporary (7 days, 30 days) or until issues are resolved.
9.2 Permanent Ban
Accounts may be permanently banned for:
- Serious violations (harassment, threats, hate speech)
- Repeated violations after warnings
- Fraudulent activity or scams
- Legal violations
9.3 Effect of Suspension/Ban
Upon suspension or ban:
- Access to community features is restricted or removed
- Content may be removed or hidden
- Account may be restricted from creating new content
- Permanent bans are typically irreversible
10. Event Participation Rules
Community events (workshops, meetups, online events) are subject to:
- Registration: Registration and attendance requirements as specified for each event
- Code of Conduct: Event-specific code of conduct (in addition to these Guidelines)
- Photography and Recording: Photography and recording policies (consent required)
- Safety: Safety requirements and compliance with venue rules
- Liability: Safety and liability waivers (see Event Waiver & Liability Release)
